Theater

Goals & Objectives

Theater class incorporates drama, dance, song, theater games in an environment of cooperation and collaboration. Together, we will translate written text and creative ideas into physical performance. Our objectives for this class is for participants to:

  1. Establish positive group dynamics and establish trust through theater games and activities. 

  2. Explore creative solutions to real-world experiences and environments through drama. 

  3. Reflect on and relate to dramatic characters and settings. 

  4. Develop communication and social skills and increase confidence and competence in public performance.

  5. Collaborate with peers to create originally produced performances.
