Goals & Objectives

Join us as we explore the exciting world of music through listening, creating, performing, and learning! Working with our music instructor, participants will develop musical skills while discovering different genres, artists, instruments, and styles from around the world.

Through hands-on activities, exercises, practice, projects, and collaborative work, participants will learn the building blocks of music, including rhythm, tempo, melody, dynamics, and song structure. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just beginning your musical journey, this class provides a fun and supportive environment to grow your skills and confidence.

3. Create original songs and musical compositions while exploring how music can communicate ideas, tell stories, and serve as a form of emotional expression through techniques such as songwriting, mindfulness, and reflective listening.

4. Develop listening, performance, and communication skills through small-group and whole-group instruction, discussions, role-playing activities, and collaborative musical experiences.
