Maker's Studio
Goals & Objectives
Maker's Studio offers hands-on projects led by local artists and professionals, with each week featuring a new craft such as floral arrangements, soap creation, candle making, or graphic design. Participants learn essential techniques, safe use of materials, and creative expression while building new artistic skills. During class each participant will:
1. Learn essential techniques and safe material use across projects including floral arrangements, soap making, candle crafting, and design.
2. Apply design principles (balance, color, texture, layout) to create visually appealing projects.
3. Develop technical crafting skills such as measuring, cutting, molding, arranging, and layering across multiple art forms
4. Explore a diversity of creative art forms.
5. Develop self-discovery and self-accomplishment skills through a creative outlet.
